We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse in Boise, Idaho. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and operating specialized equipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and move incoming and outgoing materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and competently.
- Organize and stack materials in designated storage areas.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through proper handling.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE during all material handling activities.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is required. Forklift certification is highly preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs. Strong understanding of material handling equipment operation and safety protocols. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina and dexterity. A commitment to workplace safety is non-negotiable. Familiarity with logistics processes is beneficial. We provide training for specific equipment and warehouse procedures. This role requires reliability and a proactive attitude towards managing materials.
