Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on shortages or overages.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper organization and placement of inventory within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus. Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with WMS software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be comfortable with lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally. Understanding of logistics operations is beneficial. Commitment to a safe working environment is mandatory. Experience with RF scanners and inventory auditing techniques is required. This role demands precision and a dedication to maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy in a busy warehouse.
