You will be responsible for managing the intake of all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized receiving areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Inspect delivered goods for any damage and document findings.
- Enter receiving data accurately into the inventory management system.
- Assign lot numbers and store received items in their designated locations.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving dock area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is advantageous.
- Proficiency with computers, data entry, and basic software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of general logistics operations.
Working Conditions:
This role involves standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting in a warehouse setting.
