Join our team as an Order Picker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and play a crucial role in our fulfillment process. We are seeking energetic and accurate individuals to pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves based on order slips or electronic pick lists. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring efficiency and attention to detail. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority, and all employees are expected to follow safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Use RF scanners or other handheld devices to track inventory movement.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
