Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and organized? We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist at our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, reconciling inventory records, and implementing improvements to inventory management processes. You will work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that our inventory data is precise and reliable. A strong focus on Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). While this role is primarily focused on data and analysis, some physical tasks may be involved, including occasional light Lifting. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Reconcile inventory records with physical stock.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
  • Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and logistics departments to ensure data accuracy.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with tasks requiring light Lifting or movement of inventory as needed.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and movement.
