We are hiring for a crucial role within our distribution center, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods. As a Forklift Operator, you will operate various types of forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on maintaining operational flow, ensuring timely handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, and contributing to overall warehouse productivity. Safety is our top priority, and you must demonstrate a strong understanding of forklift operation best practices, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves frequent Lifting and maneuvering of heavy loads, requiring both physical capability and a steady hand. You will play a vital part in our logistics network, ensuring that materials are stored correctly and accessible when needed. Attention to detail and a commitment to following all safety procedures are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials and products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory according to established procedures.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing PPE and following traffic rules within the facility.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed, including occasional manual Lifting.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations through reliable performance.
