We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your primary duties will involve navigating our warehouse efficiently, locating items using a pick list or scanning device, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive workplace, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You will be an integral part of our distribution center operations, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order fulfillment. The role involves regular Lifting of boxes and items, and a willingness to perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Scan items to verify accuracy and record inventory movement.
- Package orders securely for shipment, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Operate pallet jacks or other lifting equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Follow all guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling.
