Job Summary:
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy? We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our Charlotte, North Carolina team. This critical role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory data, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, and optimizing warehouse organization. You will implement and manage inventory control procedures, conduct regular audits, analyze inventory trends, and work closely with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of inventory management within our growing logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize stock.
  • Manage inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring data integrity.
  • Monitor product movement and identify potential issues or inefficiencies.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of inventory to minimize loss.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to forecast needs and manage stock.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and ensure proper use of PPE .

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs when necessary for audits.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and proper handling of materials.
  • Must consistently wear and utilize appropriate PPE .
This role is vital to the efficiency and accuracy of our entire logistics and supply chain operations.
