As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of essential operations, from receiving and storing inventory to picking and packing orders for shipment. Your responsibilities will include accurately locating and retrieving products, ensuring they are securely packaged for transport, and maintaining detailed records of inventory movements. You will also play a crucial role in keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for all personnel. We are committed to a safe working environment, and comprehensive training will be provided on all aspects of the job, including proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store inventory in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper record-keeping.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean, organized, and safe.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Follow all company policies and safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet operational goals.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 55 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or willingness to be trained.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles is a plus.
