This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, ensuring that products are handled, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. As a Warehouse Worker, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including receiving incoming shipments, accurately storing goods in designated locations, picking orders for customers, and preparing items for shipment. You will also be involved in inventory control, maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, and operating material handling equipment. We place a high emphasis on safety; therefore, comprehensive training will be provided on proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including significant lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack items for customer orders with speed and precision.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining accurate warehouse records.
- Adhere to all instructions regarding the use of PPE.
- Contribute to achieving daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to guidelines.
