We are looking for motivated Order Pickers to join our logistics hub in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected. You will utilize order pick lists and electronic scanning devices to navigate the warehouse and confirm item selections. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, along with strict adherence to all Safety protocols, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a critical aspect of this position. This role requires physical activity, including regular Lifting of items and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities for accuracy.
- Package items for shipment, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
