The Marketing Science team at Flipp works cross-functionally with clients, analysts, and external partnerships to executive campaigns at the highest level of effectiveness. The Marketing Science Analyst works cross-functionally with business development and product teams to execute testing & measurement effectively. You will play a crucial role in supporting the test, measure, and scale cycle with our customers to demonstrate Flipp's value and drive media investment. You will collaborate with internal teams to perform detailed analyses, measurement, and contribute to the development of business cases that showcase the impact of our marketing initiatives.

- Execute analysis per specified testing & measurement plan
- Understands & applies Flipp testing & measurement best practices
- Completes assigned tickets in JIRA workflow on time w/high quality
- Data Preparation & Modeling
- Proficient in data extraction, manipulation and aggregation
- Navigate enterprise level systems & large datasets
- Understanding of Flipp's data models, limitations & relevant applications
- Identify process efficiency opportunities & develop working prototypes
- Analysis & Measurement
- Understand & apply foundational statistical concepts
- Working knowledge of digital marketing attribution and incrementality measurement
- Execute Flipp testing & measurement playbooks
- Investigate anomalies, patterns and potential root cause issues to drive understanding & corrective action
- Generating & Delivering Insights
- Identifies the ""What"" & ""So What"" in d2d analysis, often driving action via recommendations (""Now What"")
- Packages complex analysis into a compelling data story
- Utilizes industry leading BI tools to effectively visualize key insights
- Effectively presents analysis to both technical and non-technical internal audiences
- Innovation & Growth
- Actively develops technical skills in programming and analysis
- Actively seeks to develop deeper industry expertise (Retail/CPG & digital marketing)
- Develops & delivers on personal development plan
- Tests new capabilities & provides feedback to process owners
- Post secondary degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics/Math/Finance/Economics/Business Engineering or similar field
- 1-2 years experience as a data analyst
- Demonstrated abilities in data extraction and analysis - SQL, Python, Scala, R
- Familiarity w/industry leading BI tools - tableau, PowerBI, Thoughtspot, Looker
- Foundational knowledge of cloud data platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP an asset
- Experience working with databricks an asset
- Familiarity with foundational Retail, CPG, digital measurement & consumer insight concepts
- Self-starter, highly effective working independently and within a team
