Dynamic (Hybrid) Working 3‑5 days a week depending on project
Security Clearance British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After offer, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The Opportunity Systems Design engineers bring diverse design viewpoints together, ensuring customer requirements are met by proposing innovative solutions, honing detailed design, and coordinating with development teams to best use their expertise. Exposure is offered across domains – Land, Maritime, Air, and Cyber.
In Bristol, functions include Weapon Systems, Command and Control Systems, Integration and Systems Validation, Emerging Portfolio and Capability, and Sparkworks. Depending on your home function and placement choice, you may engage in technology research, requirement derivation, concept brainstorming, functional architecture development, system performance analysis, trade studies, or verification evidence gathering – covering the whole Systems ‘V’ Model.
Systems Design suits those who enjoy creativity and practicality, solve problems to logical solutions, and thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. Collaboration spans all engineering fields, business teams, suppliers, customers, and international MBDA colleagues, giving Systems Designers a high‑level view of the product definition and lifecycle and laying foundations for future weapons capabilities.
