*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic IT Network Engineer to join our team and strengthen our IT infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain robust network systems that support our manufacturing operations and corporate functions. You will be instrumental in ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of our network environment across multiple locations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and security issues
* Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
* Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
* Perform network upgrades, patching, and system improvements with minimal downtime
* Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and operations teams on infrastructure projects
* Support compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO, SOC 2) as applicable
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
* Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking equipment
* Familiarity with firewall configuration and network security best practices
* Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
