Our Denver, Colorado facility is seeking a diligent Shipping Clerk to manage the outgoing flow of our products. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with carrier requirements. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, verifying package contents, labeling shipments, and coordinating with transport providers. Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area, adhering to all Safety regulations, and consistently wearing the required PPE are critical aspects of this job. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of shipping procedures. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving some Lifting and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Join our team and play a key part in our supply chain.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping manifests.
- Apply correct labels and documentation to packages.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain organized records of all shipments.
- Ensure the shipping area is clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE appropriately.
- Communicate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and computer systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and carrier requirements.
- Commitment to Safety standards and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to perform occasional moderate Lifting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
