We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk for our San Antonio, Texas facility. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include assisting with stock checks, recording inventory movements, and reconciling physical counts with system data. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure efficient inventory management. A strong understanding of logistics operations and adherence to Safety procedures, including the appropriate use of PPE, is required. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses excellent data entry skills, and has a keen eye for detail. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills in inventory management within a dynamic logistics environment.Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and checks.
- Record the receipt and movement of inventory items.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing stock.
- Help reconcile physical inventory with inventory records.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory documentation.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to management.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE within the warehouse.
- Support other inventory-related tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve occasional Lifting.
- Team player with good communication skills.
