Become an essential part of our logistics network as an Order Picker in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our commitment to timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will be tasked with accurately locating, picking, and preparing items from our warehouse stock to meet customer demands. This requires keen attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to follow instructions precisely. Your daily activities will involve navigating the warehouse using pick lists or scanning technology, ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected for each order. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is crucial, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of mandated PPE, is required. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, the physical capability for lifting and moving items, and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves according to order documents.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to identify and retrieve products.
- Verify that picked items match order specifications for quantity and type.
- Transport picked orders to designated staging or packing areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment safely.
- Report any issues with inventory or equipment to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse roles is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret picking instructions accurately.
- Good physical condition, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of and adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
