Key duties include unloading materials, checking for discrepancies against order documents, and ensuring items are properly logged into our system. Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area is also a crucial aspect of this position. We place a high emphasis on workplace safety, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. This position requires physical capability, including the ability to perform tasks involving lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming deliveries.
- Inspect products for any damage or quality issues.
- Accurately record received goods using our system.
- Compare received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Store received inventory in appropriate locations.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
- Ensure the receiving area is kept clean, safe, and orderly.
- Follow all safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a receiving or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver items.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace safety and PPE.
