Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from delivery trucks.
- Inspect goods for any damage or discrepancies upon arrival.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record all received items into the inventory management system.
- Label received goods with appropriate identification tags.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other necessary equipment for material handling.
- Report any receiving discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
This role involves frequent physical activity, including lifting objects up to 45 pounds. A strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and safety is essential for this critical logistics function.
