Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Kansas City, Missouri! This position is critical to our daily logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of inventory. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to work effectively in a team, and possess the physical stamina required for warehouse duties. Your efforts will directly contribute to our ability to serve our customers effectively through accurate and timely order fulfillment. Safety is paramount, and all team members are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory.
- Place received goods into designated storage locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments with correct labels and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces.
- Follow all established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
