We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is critical to the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse and distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials, including loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. A strong commitment to safety, precision, and a thorough understanding of forklift operations are essential. You will be working in a dynamic logistics environment, and your ability to operate various types of forklifts safely is key. We prioritize a secure workplace and expect all employees to follow safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers with accuracy and care.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Support overall logistics operations as directed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a certified Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to operate different types of forklifts.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and logistics flow.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
- Strong safety consciousness and a commitment to accident prevention.
- Team player with good communication skills.
