We are seeking motivated Order Pickers to join our expanding logistics facility in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our ability to deliver on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from specified locations using handheld scanners and/or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet productivity targets.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
