We are seeking an detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This position is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that our inventory management systems are up-to-date. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
- Operate scanning equipment and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory tracking.
- Ensure that all inventory is properly stored, identified, and organized.
- Monitor stock levels and report any low stock items or potential shortages.
- Assist with the receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Generate inventory reports as required by management.
- Contribute to improving inventory control processes and efficiency within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and scanning technology.
- Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to accuracy.
