We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Tampa, Florida! In this leadership role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of safety. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, provide training, and implement operational improvements within our logistics hub. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe working environment. You will be responsible for meeting performance metrics and ensuring the smooth flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage and lifting procedures.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices in logistics and safety.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Optimize space utilization and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions.
- Handle any issues or disputes that arise within the team or operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols, including PPE requirements and safe lifting techniques.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
