Are you an experienced Reach Truck Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Seattle, Washington! This position is critical for efficient material handling and inventory management within our bustling warehouse. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and accurately maneuvering a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory at various heights. You will play a key role in optimizing storage space and ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses excellent driving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve products.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly storing and locating items.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including strict adherence to PPE requirements and safe lifting practices.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking and packing.
- Participate in regular safety training and adhere to all warehouse safety regulations.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, essential for effective logistics.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification for operating a reach truck.
- Proven experience as a reach truck operator in a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and material handling best practices.
