We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating receiving and shipping schedules, and supervising warehouse staff. Key duties include optimizing warehouse layout, implementing operational efficiencies, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies. You will also be involved in troubleshooting operational issues, managing resources, and maintaining performance metrics. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for liaising with carriers, vendors, and internal departments. This role requires a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and best practices in logistics. Ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and promoting safety awareness among the team is paramount. While this role involves supervision, occasional participation in physical tasks, including Lifting up to 30 lbs, may be necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to operational excellence.
