An exciting opportunity awaits an Inventory Control Specialist at our Orlando, Florida warehouse. This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and analyzing inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies. This includes performing cycle counts, investigating stock variances, and implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal inventory levels. You will work closely with receiving, put-away, and shipping departments to ensure seamless inventory flow and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Responsibilities also include managing product locator systems, optimizing warehouse slotting, and identifying opportunities for process improvement within inventory operations. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a top priority. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills. While not primarily a manual labor role, occasional Lifting of up to 20 lbs may be required, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods is necessary.
