Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and system data, and investigating the root causes of variances. You will assist in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring all incoming goods are properly identified, logged, and stored. Your duties will also include monitoring inventory levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, and recommending actions to optimize inventory turnover. A key aspect of this position involves maintaining the integrity of our inventory management system through precise data entry and regular audits. Collaboration with other departments, such as purchasing and shipping, is essential to ensure smooth operations and prevent stock-outs or overstocking. Adherence to all safety regulations and the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure a safe work environment. This position requires the ability to perform tasks that involve standing for extended periods and occasional Lifting of up to 25 lbs. Familiarity with inventory control best practices and warehouse operations is highly desirable.
