We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are accounted for and packaged correctly. This role is vital for our logistics operations and directly impacts customer satisfaction. A commitment to speed, accuracy, and safety is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on warehouse safety and Lifting guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking goals.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervision promptly.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
