Are you a motivated individual seeking a challenging role in warehouse operations? We are hiring Material Handlers for our facility in Provo, Utah. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is correctly stored and readily accessible. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our logistics department and requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Move, weigh, and count incoming and outgoing items.
- Locate and retrieve materials and products for various departments.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Participate in physical inventory counts.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion and frequent Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required by the business needs.
