Are you ready to build a career in Logistics? We're hiring Warehouse Workers for our Houston, Texas location! As a Warehouse Worker, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our operations run smoothly. Your duties will encompass receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, with a constant focus on Safety and accuracy. We are looking for energetic individuals who can handle physical demands, work collaboratively, and contribute to a productive atmosphere. Your role is key to our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using provided lists or technology.
- Pack and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring secure packaging and correct labeling.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, exercising care and attention.
- Operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, strictly adhering to Safety protocols.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes, vests, and gloves, as instructed.
- Support inventory management through cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist in maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our Logistics system.
- Participate in team efforts to meet and exceed operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, and moving for long periods.
- Must be comfortable with significant Lifting, up to 55 lbs, regularly.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety regulations and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Basic familiarity with warehouse operations or Logistics is a plus.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including occasional weekends or overtime.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
