We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our busy warehouse in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is vital to the efficient processing and dispatch of all outgoing orders, directly impacting our Logistics chain and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for accurately preparing shipping documentation, verifying shipment details, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. While not as physically demanding as other roles, some moderate Lifting may be required. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount in all aspects of this role; you must be vigilant in following all Safety protocols and utilizing the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all shipping documents, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Verify shipment details against orders, ensuring accuracy.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Ensure all packages are properly labeled and meet carrier requirements.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE when required.
- Assist with inventory verification as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Logistics department.
