We are seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory, ensuring efficient workflow and product accessibility within our logistics operations. Your ability to operate machinery safely and effectively is paramount to maintaining high productivity and preventing accidents. We are looking for experienced operators who are committed to maintaining a secure and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to load and unload materials and finished goods.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and shipping docks.
- Stack products safely and securely in designated racking systems or storage areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or damage.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and order fulfillment processes.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and locations as required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
- Must be willing to wear all necessary PPE.
