Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort and place incoming inventory in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery, including proper labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to safety and teamwork is required. Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory management systems is beneficial.
