Job Summary:
Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a dynamic role? We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our busy warehouse in Nashville, Tennessee. In this position, you will play a vital role in our logistics chain by accurately selecting items for customer orders and ensuring they are prepared for shipment. Your primary focus will be on efficiency and accuracy, contributing to customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to providing a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. This role involves frequent movement and the ability to handle lifting of various items. You will work as part of a team to meet daily order fulfillment targets. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
  • Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding areas.
  • Operate handheld scanners and other warehouse technology.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Understanding and commitment to workplace safety and PPE usage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong organizational skills.
