Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick and pack items for outgoing shipments using order lists.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all company safety rules and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Support the broader logistics team in achieving daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including regular lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes.
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods in a warehouse setting. Working conditions may include varying temperatures. Strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), is essential to ensure a safe and productive workplace within our logistics operations.
