Key Responsibilities:
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into designated storage areas.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Ensure all materials are correctly identified, labeled, and stored according to company standards.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring timely and accurate material availability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is required.
- Ability to perform consistent physical labor, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices and warehouse safety standards.
- Familiarity with the principles of logistics and supply chain.
- Commitment to using required PPE and following safety protocols.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Working Conditions:
This role requires significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for the duration of the shift in a warehouse setting. Employees must strictly follow all safety guidelines and consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure their safety and the efficiency of our logistics operations. Working conditions may include varying temperatures.
