Our logistics company is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our distribution center. Key responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, as well as picking and preparing materials for outgoing shipments. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, ensuring optimal safety and performance. Maintaining accurate inventory records and keeping the warehouse clean and organized are also vital aspects of this position. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a dedication to safety. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a proven track record of operating material handling machinery, is essential. Strict adherence to all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. This role requires consistent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
