You will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by picking items from designated locations within the warehouse and then carefully packing them for safe transit. This position demands precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and maximize efficiency. A commitment to Safety is paramount, and all team members are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. The role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of products of varying weights and sizes, and moving them throughout the facility. You will work closely with other members of the distribution team to ensure a seamless workflow and contribute to the overall success of our supply chain operations. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve correct items from storage locations based on order requests.
- Verify item accuracy through scanning or visual inspection.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Operate manual and powered equipment for moving goods, including pallet jacks.
- Maintain tidiness and organization in picking and packing stations.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and wear assigned PPE.
- Achieve performance targets for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as directed, including general labor and Lifting.
- Uphold high standards of work and teamwork in a fast-paced logistics environment.
