Our Austin, Texas location is seeking an efficient and organized Receiving Clerk to manage incoming shipments. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, ensuring that all goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. You will be responsible for verifying deliveries, identifying discrepancies, and processing received items for further distribution. A strong commitment to Safety and attention to detail are crucial. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and product codes against purchase orders and invoices.
- Document all receiving activities accurately in the WMS.
- Identify and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Stage received goods for put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring Safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Ensure consistent use of appropriate PPE.
- Perform necessary Lifting of received goods.
- Support the overall Logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and WMS is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable with Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding and adherence to Safety guidelines.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
