We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is pivotal to our daily operations, encompassing a variety of tasks such as receiving and storing inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing shipments for dispatch. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and workplace safety . You will work closely with a team to ensure smooth warehouse functioning and contribute to our overall success in the logistics sector. Responsibilities:
- Unload, receive, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and required documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist other team members and departments as needed to ensure operational flow.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including constant movement, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet performance targets.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems is a plus.
- Mandatory adherence to all safety regulations and the correct usage of PPE .
