Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Stage orders in the correct areas for outbound shipping and quality checks.
- Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet productivity targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attendance record.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to strictly follow all safety procedures and wear designated PPE .
