We are hiring an Order Picker for our Boston, Massachusetts location. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient retrieval of products for customer orders. The successful candidate will use scanning technology and follow pick tickets to ensure order accuracy and speed. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse inventory based on assigned pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track picks and inventory levels.
- Inspect picked items for defects or damage, ensuring quality.
- Stage orders for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize required PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, contributing to overall team success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse duties is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team.
