We are seeking an organized and precise Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting regular counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date. Your attention to detail will be vital in supporting our overall logistics operations and ensuring that products are available when needed. We are looking for a diligent individual who can work independently and contribute to a smooth-running warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts as scheduled.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations.
- Update the inventory management system with all relevant data.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or excess stock.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Ensure that all inventory is stored appropriately and securely.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Organize warehouse stock for efficient retrieval and put-away.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and scanners.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
