We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on accurately picking items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You will work closely with inventory systems and other team members to ensure that orders are processed quickly and correctly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. This is a hands-on position where your accuracy and speed directly contribute to our company's success and customer satisfaction. You'll be a vital link in our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order contents against pick lists for accuracy.
- Utilize handheld scanners to update inventory status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE at all times.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to management.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including stocking and replenishment.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology.
- Understanding of general logistics principles.
- Willingness to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
