The Branch Manager leads all branch operations and sales performance while supporting two major oil sands sites: Albian and Horizon. This role oversees revenue growth, team leadership, inventory and vendor management, warehouse efficiency, and customer issue resolution. You'll drive new business, strengthen existing accounts, and ensure smooth, safe, and productive operations across both the branch and field sites.
Responsibilities
- Represent and promote the Tenaquip brand at the branch and on site while building strong client relationships.
- Grow existing accounts, develop new business, and meet sales targets.
- Submit bi‑weekly sales reports and deliver monthly performance presentations.
- Monitor key sales metrics to support growth and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain alignment with corporate goals and expectations.
- Be physically present at the Albian and Horizon sites to oversee daily operations.
- Manage vendor‑managed inventory (VMI) programs and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Oversee inventory control, cash handling, and branch opening/closing procedures.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
- Maintain a safe, efficient facility layout.
- Manage procurement of branch and site supplies while controlling costs.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards; provide training as needed.
- Lead and support warehouse and inside sales teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Create clear documents, presentations, and reports; use intermediate Excel and Microsoft Teams.
- Operate office equipment and navigate POS and ERP systems.
- Communicate clearly with different audiences and simplify complex information.
- Stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Support and motivate team members while fostering collaboration.
- Produce accurate, high‑quality work and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Adapt well to changing priorities and remain productive under pressure.
- Build positive working relationships and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation for the team.
- Supervise warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity.
- Support inventory management and timely product handling.
- Assist with physical tasks as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Valid driver's license required to travel between branch sites regularly.
