We have 1-FT position available 6:30a-3p M-F with rotational on-call for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Summary:
The RN Circulator manages all necessary care or tasks inside the surgery room, directing care and the activities of the team for the patient's best interest. The RN Circulator provides care and support for the patient before, during and after surgery, delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Essential Functions:
Assess and evaluate the organization of supplies, unit needs and initiates changes, as deemed necessary, working with departmental staff and will also follow up on changes until fully implemented
Directs other surgery staff for maximum utilization of their skills and abilities
Coordinates and integrates services within department and with other departments
Utilizes initiative; strives to maintain steady level of productivity
Performs other related duties incidental to the work or as assigned by the Director
Skills and Abilities:
Successful candidates:
Maintains self -motivation and sustains a high level of momentum
Able to successfully prioritize when faced with requests, demands and deadlines
Must be extremely detail oriented and able to accurately assess patient and document findings
Expresses excellent judgment, discretion and decision making abilities
Ability to prioritize, highly organized
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas required
Operating room experience preferred
