Business Analyst - Campbell Oil Co, Inc. (Newton, TX) Job Duties: Operational Efficiency Analysis - Evaluate and streamline supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory management. Data-Driven Decision Support - Collect, interpret, and present financial and operational data using MS Excel, pivot tables and advance formulas to support strategic decisions related to fuel procurement, transportation, and regional market penetration. Process Improvement Initiatives - Identify performance gaps across departments (sales, procurement, logistics) and recommend practical process improvements or automation solutions. Market and Regulatory Research - Analyze market trends and customer behavior using MS Excel, pivot tables and advance formulas and analyze evolving regulatory requirements impacting fuel distribution, ensuring compliance and strategic readiness. Performance Metrics Development - Design and implement KPIs to monitor key business functions including fleet performance, delivery timelines, profit margins, and customer satisfaction. Project Management - Lead or support cross-functional projects such as ERP system upgrades, warehouse optimization, or integration of sustainability initiatives in fuel sourcing. Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with senior leadership, sales teams, logistics managers, and external partners to align business strategies with operational capabilities. Reporting and Presentation - Prepare detailed reports utilizing MS Excel and present actionable insights to management, highlighting areas of risk, growth opportunities, and recommended next steps. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting and Finance or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst conducting financial analysis and market analysis using MS Excel, advanced formulas and pivot tables.
