We are looking for someone who:

Possesses strong 3D design skills – SolidWorks preferred, but other 3D packages considered.

Comfortable being customer‑facing and providing on‑site technical support.
Holds an apprenticeship or degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical or product design advantageous).

Electrical Design Engineer – (Shrewsbury) My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a hands‑on Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering.
Have previous experience carrying out electrical design.
Have experience working with control panels.

You will be able to provide engineering input to design outputs in collaboration with other disciplines, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, Control Philosophies, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams. To be successful in this role, you will have strong communication skills and be able to deliver technical presentations to clients and other design engineers.
You will also be able to provide technical leadership to the Flood and Coastal Mechanical team and support the development of junior engineers.
You will understand how lowland drainage pumping stations operate and gain experience in assessing existing site infrastructure to develop and deliver the mechanical design. You will also have an awareness of the Eel Regulations 2009, and their implications on flood and coastal pumping stations.
