Job Description

Shape the Future of Talent at Chandos

Are you passionate about building programs that connect candidates with meaningful careers? Do you thrive on creating strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent? If so, we want you on our team

As the Student Experience & Development Coordinator, you'll lead the charge in designing and executing a best-in-class employment strategy that fuels Chandos' future talent pipeline. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact, connecting students, new graduates, and other emerging professionals to real-world experiences while strengthening our brand across campuses, communities, and industry networks.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic employment program that includes:
    • High school RAP initiatives
    • Student term employment (i.e. Co-op)
    • New graduate opportunities
    • Early career programs and other emerging talent pathways
  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR to align talent strategies with organizational goals.
  • Build strong relationships with post-secondary institutions, career centers, and industry partners to showcase Chandos as an employer of choice.
  • Represent Chandos at career fairs, networking events, and community activities, promoting exciting opportunities for students and early-career professionals.
  • Create an engaging onboarding experience and support participants throughout their journey.
  • Track program success through KPIs like engagement, retention, and rehire rates.
  • Innovate Bring forward ideas for scholarships, mentorship programs, development projects, and more.
  • Supporting the HR program and policy team with other initiatives as required.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally with a focus on talent acquisition or student programs.
  • A degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a knack for managing multiple priorities.
  • Strategic thinking with a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Bonus points for student employment related experience
